electric

tylerintheclouds

i hang from the pylon knowing i could be shocked

my legs, wrestle wrapped around

reminding me of the last time you came around

and pivoted through my house like an unruly elastic band

i like to think i’m a nice guy

that is until i break my tolerance

that is until you break my heart

sour summers claw at me

i have had a triathlon thus far

and i hang vacant to their sharpness

indenting a space for them

when the leaves are like me, no longer on ground

no longer en guard

for the next time they come around

reminding me of the last time you came around

and rocked through my life like a classic metal band

A haunting piece full of emotion of someone who has been pushed and tested to far by someone else, well expressed in the writing
