Still a depressed writer

What would you do

If all the promises I made to you were broken

How would you do 

If you found out I left all the words I wanted to speak unspoken

Fake apologies

Alongside forgotten memories

Fossils that were destroyed

With the pictures of you and me

These hollow bones

Just like shattered spirits and ghosts

Stories made just to leave untold

This house never felt like a home

Calm little butterfly in a storm

Tell me who's gonna keep you warm

You're a brave little butterfly

Flying all alone in this storm

Only seeing what they show on screen

I'm stronger than you mentally

I'm still a human being

So what if you think I'm mean

You can yell but I can't

Always giving into your demands

You can have an attitude but I can't

You hate the way I talk and the way I act

Sit up straight, will you?

I'm always acting for you

Don't ever listen when I speak to you

I write these poems for you
