Shadows and rays

Maplespal

Shadows and rays

Slowly the shadows stretch away,

indicating the movement of the day.

The sun trying to finish its shining trip,

its brightness seen at the shadows tip.

With its own revolving separated flow,

the moon waiting for its time to show.

Pulling the oceans to help its nightly rise,

to catch the suns rays it timelessly tries.

The shadows run away from the ray to hide,

the moon trying to catch the suns lonely side.

When sitting waiting for something to find,

these types of thoughts come to the mind.

Even the single rays make one think of things,

feeling the warmth of each that the day brings.

Notions of thought stemming from the sky,

cooled only by the feeling of a breeze passing by.
