Pausing the string

Maplespal

Pausing the string

Frozen time opens the paused mind,
it helps when contemplating ice to find.
Shown when a notion is found to explore,
like when she walks through the open door,
or that first meaningful loving kiss.
Picturing those moments we all miss,
the things that make time freeze,
the first feel of a chilling breeze,
patiently waiting for the kettles boil,
watching the ants deadly endless coil.

A storm approaching its calming end,
stirring the colors to make them blend,
watching as the sun sets and rises,
those colorful atmospheric surprises.
Counting stars above the clouds layer,
watching memories reflection player.
Stuttering through times stringing home,
letting the mind drift and roam.
