Charred

Charred

I'll let your inspiration ruin my mind,
leave memories of you for it to find.
Loneliness it's a sailing ship,
its a solo taken rounded trip,
an empty car seat beside the bed,
memories before both were dead.

The ocean so empty in front of me,
still, both across I plainly see.
Truths touch stings and burns,
I'm charred thinking of those I yearn.

Touching and sad this poem reaches through time to those lost in the past. A very beautiful piece so well worded your poetry has grown immensely.

Great feeling and emotion. It drew me in and caused me to feel the loneliness, the empty hole in the heart. Great writing!
