Tuned time

"We are not two sides of the same team any more",
I heard a beautiful woman sing that line before.
Thinking back to what was left in the past,
the music still experienced it will last.
The beats, the rhythms, the upbeat flows,
through my writing it often shows.

The tunes help guide me through the night,
lesson the fog, bring words into sight.
Inspired by the songs that make me move,
trying to flow sentences into a groove.
Often times I'll tie my you to a tune,
reflect upon her as if I will see her soon.

I dance in the valley I hold in my head,
replaying all the words to me she said.
Music comforts the souls vibrating the ears,
lessoning the pain, lessoning the fears.
The beats and rhythms flowing so bright,
As I sit enjoying the tunes tonight.
