The Spark

Paul Gerard Reed

 A spark is found at the beginning

But on it's own is fragile, unsure

There needs to be a twinning

With the serious flames that endure;

Many people think the spark is all,

Is the only thing they need

But they are bound to take a fall

Just thinking of the seed;

The fire needs to develop and grow

In the grate where it comfortably lies

There is such a long, long way to go

And the spark on it's own just dies

    Yes! Just like an ember that has lost its spark... they both fade away. 🙏🏻🕊️
