hedgehog verse

jim56

when the hedgehogs wake from there winter sleep
leave there winter nest aound your garden creep
with there little spikes pointing in the air
lots of little spikes sticking every where

roaming round the garden for a tasty treat
for there favourite food they just love to eat
such a lovely creature as cute as cute can  be
when springtime comes around hedgehogs we always see

                I very much enjoy your nature poems Jim. Hedgehogs are quite adorable. Several years back we had two in our garden, but alas no more. Don’t know what became of them. Yes should be out of hibernation soon and looking for dinner. Have a good day. Very cold here still.

                  cold here today dull and dismal windy to no work today
                  need some sunshine to windy might blow me away
