Blind

Im sorry I cant see you

I was born like this

With no eyes to cry

And no hands to make fist

Im sorry I cant see you

But your presence like a mist

It envelopes me and cools me down

You give my soul a gentle kiss

Im sorry I cant see you

But I still feel the sun

Its only close when I love my most

So tell me you’re the one

Im sorry I cant see you

And all the fun things you do

If the moon didn't talk about you so much

I wouldn’t have had a clue

Im sorry I cant see you

But if I did it’d be no fun

I’d see you perfect in everyway

And tell you to throw me away

I’m sorry I cant see you

Because I wont open my eyes

I'm sorry I cant feel you

My hands are bloody with lies

A haunting but very different take on obcessive passion and its effects. Lovely images and use of metaphor. Very nicely done
