A white cat comfortably sits
by purple , pink flowers
in the nighttime
makes me think of the peaceful merry moon living with the cat
the merry moon sits with the cat on the colour that she is
she’s not in the sky this evening
just here sitting with the quiet cotton cat
resting amongst the purples
the pinks
looking at the place she has lived in before and maybe will again
yet for now the merry moon softly sits with the cat
takes a needed break from the evenings sky
sits with the brighter colours
with friendly flowers of the earth
grounded
looking at the place she used to live in
and probably will again
the moon decides she wants to rest with the cat and flowers and that’s ok
because maybe she wanted to be
in a slightly different place for a while
