My Babygirl

deejax757

Hey there my sweet girl,

You brought color into my world.

Like sunshine breaking through the rain,

Your smile makes everything okay again.

I watch you dance and sing and play,

Making magic in your own way.

Your little laugh, your silly jokes,

The way you see wonder in ordinary folks.

Sometimes I just sit and stare,

Amazed at how much love I bear.

You're growing up so fast, it's true,

But you'll always be my baby boo.

No matter where life takes you, know

That my love will always flow.

You're the best part of every day,

My Gigi girl, that's all I'll say.

Cute and light hearted it lifts the soul and dances. A poem most bright and happy.
