Be the pilot of your own schemes

Emile Dubois

Be the pilot of your own schemes
For on every morrow do we weep
At lost times in following others ways of being
Be the vessel of your own adventure
Like a ship in the night
Riding the storm
Buoyant in the darkness of light
Be the master at the helm
Steering forth through choppy waters
Dwell in adversity
Recognise your part
For the heart grows stronger
When battling demons
And facing hell

A powerful call to arms. A battle cry against dependency in following the mob. A wonderful write of having the courage to be your own captain and sail your own course. Lovely
