Time Takes Us Away

My Boy Ryngkhlem

Time Takes Us Away

I never thought we’d drift,

but time has a way of pulling people apart,

like changes we didn’t expect.

Back then, you were always there,

your laughter slipping into mine,

your footsteps just behind me.

We were close—so close

That I thought we always would be.

Sometimes, I stopped to think,

about the place you now call home,

And the roads you walk without me.

And maybe that’s how it was meant to be.

Sometimes we have to travel on different paths, but those paths may well cross again, enjoyed the read.

This is so true Ryng, touched me in my heart and memory of what Time had separated. 🙏🏻🕊

Yeah, life is full of goodbyes, but we learn to accept them and move forward with hope in our hearts.
