A lesson to inflict

Vishakha

Enough with the days

But never with the space

Stumbling thoughts stopping halfway

Never making it through the gate

Those who expect are always left in disdain

Trying to rub you off as they do to a stain

It's never beyond the layer

you shed, for them

Still tearing yourself apart,

even when they don't go beyond the hem?

Thoughts and emotions never adequately expressed are always a problem. Misunderstanding and problems from things left unsaid. A deep poem that speaks.

A poem that goes deep into the core of a relationship, and the communication and emotionally problems that can follow, well expressed.
