Shell

shadowbones

The universe is much bigger than I

Struggling times bring forth

Denial and discomfort

And troubling lies

The planet hardly touching the sky

Sadness hardens me

And through everything

I am still alive

Sorrow contains me

Wallows in endless pit

Turmoils never ending abyss

Willing little shell continues

To persist

In this poem there is the the ember of a dying fire where hope exists in its burnt out coals. Nice
