A Pause, A Wait

My Boy Ryngkhlem

I leave the leaves to rest,

And set my thoughts aside,

allowing silence to rest,

where verses used to rise.

Words will wait for me,

they’ll greet me again,

and with luminous songs,

will you be there to sing?
