One for the Ladies

Mutley Ravishes

Glands secrete

But can they also

Increte?

Ovaries gradually

Losing their power

Estrogen's dismal hours

Dryness hurting, miseries lurking

What if the vitalizing power

Of reproductive energy

Stored and circulated

Means they will be

Regenerated?

A frightening thought for those who have undergone menses and now like Sarah of Old Testament surprisingly give birth in old age. What a thought. Metaphorically it is another thing productive births of ideas are generated out of the old. Nicely done Mutley

      Thanks for dropping by.

Well, I was a little vague in the rhyme! Should've put more emphasis on the hormonal aspect.

A wonderful poem that speaks of aging and rejuvenation. A fascinating and though provoking write, my friend! šŸŒ¹
