Trump the devil

2781

We read it on the pages

His mug shot on the wall

He's gathered his sages

Trump has the call.

How was he elected

Nothing did he hide

Media rejection

Elevated the rise.

What's the force behind him?

Is anyone surprised?

The whore sat on the beast

On him she did boast

With now a new alliance..

Well, the whore becomes toast.

So hang on to your hats

It's time to take a ride

The beast with seven heads

Was dead, but now alive..

So  is Trump the devil?

Who's shoes does he fill?

Because if he is the devil

Is it Gods will.

All good stories require a villain, for God there must be a devil and so history has its heroes and despots today is no different. A great write

Well done, my friend. Thought-provoking poem. And no, to answer the question posed in the poem, I am not surprised. What puzzles me is how people are so willing for Trump to be God's will, but Joe Biden wasn't; It's as if when one's candidate wins, God's will is done. When one's candidate loses, God's will gets trumped by cheating humans (which is bad theology). As for me, who's in power is who's in power, and whether or not they follow God determines whether or not I ultimately listen to them. People have made mistakes in choosing human authority over God's in the past (King Saul), so this is nothing new to me. God's authority trumps human authority. Biblically, that is the case, and it should be in reality, too. Great write, my friend. Got the philosophical/theological juices flowing. 🌹👏

I heard his work (along with the "opposition") is to prepare the ground for a certain someone to make his entrance onto the world stage.
Anyways, none of this can happen
If people pull their heads out of their backsides.
It's as much on us as it is on Don Orange and co, as I'm sure you know!

Yes, there's a much bigger picture. Greatest show on earth!
