I am out in the gazing up at the sky, as every little moment passes by
Imma be back but not in time
Im hurt and what could be worse
In the mirror's gentle gaze, a smile takes form,
A curve so bright, a symbol of the norm.
A masquerade of joy, a veil so thin,
The world sees light, yet shadows lurk within.
A smile, a beacon, in society's eyes,
A simple act, but one that oft belies.
Beneath the surface of this painted grin,
Lies untold stories, where sorrows begin.
The laughter echoes, a melodic guise,
Yet behind it, a storm of silent cries.
The world sees only what it wants to see,
The painted joy, the masked felicity.
Does this smile mean happiness is mine?
Or is it a facade, a crafted sign?
A smile can hide a heart that's torn apart,
A silent scream from deep within the heart.
While people gaze and see the cheerful hue,
The hidden truths remain out of view.
A complex tapestry of pain concealed,
Behind the smile, a tale yet to be revealed.
In this dance of masks, the truth lies still,
A smile, a bridge between the heart and will.
For though the world sees only the disguise,
The soul beneath holds stories in its eyes.
So when you see a smile, remember this,
It may not always stem from bliss.
Behind each gleaming curve, a tale may hide,
A myriad of emotions, deep inside.
