Heart of Wonder

Emile Dubois

Heart of wonder
Glimpse of heaven
In this hell of man
In a grain of sand
Plaintiff cries
Woe betide and woe begone
Sorrow is the road we're on
Blinking, not knowing in our faith  there's a heart of wonder
Further into truth through a landscape of beauty
Defining ourselves with each step
Passing through lifes transitory phase
Between two realms consciously unlearning what is not
The yarn that's weaved deceives us
We are pure and cannot be hoodwinked
For their path is damnation and a road to ruin
So stay in light and bask in the radiance of all knowing
The heart of wonder resonates throughout
Our short journeys, a mere footnote in the endless cycle of time.
Travel with peace of mind, for every ship that sails is anchored to the divine
Heart of wonder, star of light!
