If love meant surrender.

Job Welime

If love meant surrender,
I would lay down my soul without fear,
Letting every piece of me fall softly into your hands,
Like autumn leaves dancing in a gentle breeze,
Trusting your touch to cradle my essence.

If love meant surrender,
I would give you my dreams without doubt,
Let them weave into yours like rivers meeting the sea,
Flowing freely, boundless and infinite,
Carried by the tide of devotion.

If love meant surrender,
I would whisper my heart into your palms,
Unfolding every hidden longing and hope,
Knowing you would cherish them tenderly,
As if they were stars in your midnight sky.

If love meant surrender,
Then let me fall, completely and true,
Not as one lost, but as one found,
In the sanctuary of you.

Very well written it carries the reader away in surrender to the concept, the meter, the very words as you hypnotically convince me that love is a type of surrender. Nicely written
