oh, my love

oh kay

oh, my love

if not for you,

how, each day, would the sun rise and set?

for you are the moon

which lights the way in darkness

for the little insignificant souls

of us pretty people

and, oh, my love

your light shines down on me

placing little white stars

in my black orbs of eyes

liberating them from the darkness

of loneliness and desperation

so, oh, my love

the day in which you must go

will be the day that there will be light in my eyes no longer

and when the faces of others turn to glance at me

they will see not your light, but only emptiness in my pupils

stay by me, my love

oh, my love
