Beyond the Page
I don't want to be an actor, Living only on the screen.
I don't want to be a musician, Existing only for the song.
I don't want to be a judge, Ruling only in the courts.
I want to be a writer, Where my words will live in people's hearts!
For in the stories I create, Lies a piece of my own heart. A fragment of my deepest thoughts, A reflection of my soul.
Through words, I'll touch, inspire, and unite. Leaving love, hope, and light. In the hearts and minds of those who read, my words beyond the page!

Now that is a statement of being! 🙏🏻🕊
Arqios, I am glad this poem resonates with you.
That it does, indeed 🙏🏻🕊
In this lies the heart of each writer and a caution to all of us readers that what we read is a piece of another to be handled with care, love and respect. Simply because words are distorted by blindness, tears and an untrained hand does not mean that there is no feeling below that skin. Be kind and reach out to understand the first words spoken by babes, the speech impaired, those fearful. They are a child's cry in the night. A lovely write my friend that goes deeper than you and reaches to all of us.
Soren, you review is inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to read, see and live the lines.
A reminder to all that poetry is written with feeling's, emotions and passions, that you may not like it but respect it, enjoyed the read
Thank you for reading Poetic.
You are very welcome
Always a piece of the writer in his or her creations and that is why every reader should be respectful regardless of what is written. Your final stanza is perfect.
Thank you for reading and your insight.
Yes!!! I concur! A wonderful write, my friend! 👏
Thank you Tristan.
Great write
Thank you Tony.
You're welcome
Wonderful piece which talks eloquently about being a person who yearns to share something meaningful outside the confines of professional identity. Absolutely loved it.
Thank you for your interaction Rebellion.
