Mother knows best

Mother knows best

No time to act stressed

They always say:

“There's no time for rest”

But at the end of the day

I can't catch a breath

“You know I'm the one who makes the call”

After all

Mother knows best

Yet she said

“You know that's not what I meant”

Wish I would’ve listened

Cause if I did

Maybe there wouldn't be such a mess

This could have been prevented

If I only knew back then

That Mother knew best

Always wear your crown

But make me proud

Speak clearly and speak loud

That's what she said

Who would have guessed

Mother knew best

It takes a long time to realize that mother has more wisdom than we thought at the time. A good write
