Do this do that
No time for my own goals
Piles and piles of work
Better get on it then
Wish I had time
Some free time
Maybe one day when I retire
I do it to myself
Procrastinate
Avoid the work
So then it piles up
And I have no time
No time for free
No time to feel
No time anymore
One day I'll retire

The future always looks better. The only problem is the future never comes. Oh yes retirement will but it will no longer be the future and you will still do as you do today. A great poem of looking to another day.
Very true, I suppose that's why present needs to be present.
Yeah. I've always said I'll put it on my "75 list". Meaning, I'll be able to do it when I'm retired and 75. Not sure, why that age, but it stuck. So, your poem rings SO VERY TRUE TO ME. Well done, my friend. Forgive my absence the past few days; I just got over some ungodly non-COVID but virulent plague 💀
IF you can even retire by 75! So sorry you've been sick!
For real! You ain't kiddin' there. If alive and not working at 75. LOL!
