Searching for some magical feeling

Emile Dubois

Searching for some magical feeling
which might never come
In a garden untended
Nothing kept up

Drowning in a vaccuum
pulled into a void
Damned by eternity
Forgotten by history

We write to ease the journeys pain
consensus an imposition
Coerced to comply
Averaged by a malaise

Steered into a wilderness
Drained by the everyday
masking emptiness
Meaning elsewhere deployed

A fun play on words that flows from beginning to end.

Thank you kind soul. We write to help create flow, to unload the mind, and maybe in the hope it seeps into our everyday lives.
