Do you want to?

Thoughtless

She asked, "Do you want it?

My heart almost, well you know.

I gasped, "Yes, yes, do me girl."

Coyly, she said, "You won't regret it?"

"Get on with it!" I cried.

Then, oh, my!  Close as lashes to eyes,

we shared our snacks and chose a movie.

How romantic.

Surprise is always a tasty treat. This poem the same. A lovely taste is left in the reader's mouth too bad it doesn't last long. Lovely
