No One Can See

Rosiii ;)

I smile and laugh every day and night,

But that perfect mask is not me

You can't even see that I'm fighting with all my might.

I discovered I had excellent acting talents;

I manage to avoid my darkest thoughts,

You can't even see that I'm starting to go silent.

But now I can't make the difference anymore...

This mask became my real self

You can't even see my fearsome inner war.

Often at night, I draw on my arms,

Like an artist on his canvas.

You can't even see that I'm setting off the fire alarm.

You won't see me wearing short sleeves,

You would be so horrified!

You can't even see that I'm beginning to leave.

Those white and red beautiful stripes,

That I'll keep well hidden.

You can't even see how many times I tend to trip...

I know I shouldn't do that, it's not a game.

But the pain is so liberating...

You can't even see the ways I shift the blame.

My inner demons frequently try to take the lead,

Sometimes you can notice it in my eyes.

You can't even see what kind of help I truly need!

These ugly and awful creatures,

Threaten to consume me from the inside out

You can't even see that I'm losing my features.

I don't know yet how long I'll wait,

But I'm sure that when you will finally open your eyes,

It will already be too late.
