Let Them

E Naughton

Shifting on the sandy surface

It speaks to my soul

All I know is the flow flows

The flow flows

Unapologetic

As the river runs

Nature need not ask permission

A pang,

As the rope severed

Rivers regret not

They know

The flow flows
