I sat and wonder
Old memories I wonder
Old friends I wonder
Old classmates I ponder
A journey I embark
Through my memories
Road look so narrow
Narrow like the road to Libya
Alone searching
They never care did they
They never searched did they
What's the need of searching I wonder
All my search, no answers
No clue , no trace of them
My search will it stop
I wonders will thee stop
No longer waiting for them
No longer searching for them
No longer thinking of them
No longer wondering about them
Alone I walked as always
Not searching for them
A spark clue to my eyes
My eyes never stop looking
Here it's them, here they comes
My old precious memories
My old friends, my old classmates,
There they are, they looked the same.
Running like a crock,
trying to save himself of it's owner,
To embrace my old memories
To embrace my old friends, that looked the same.
There they are,
No recognition I got,
My face they've forgotten,
My voice they've forgotten.

A haunting poem that feels familiar but they show no sign of recognizing me, those memories. A wonderful and well written poem that in its vagueness feels so familiar.
Thank you sorenbarrett.
A haunting, sad and touching write, very well written and expressed
It's indeed sad, keeping got memories, hoping to see them again, but after seeing them, they can't even recognize you.
That's not much fun.
Why do you say so?
Just a contemplation on your name
Well written and expressed
Thank you Tony.
