Everlasting Balm
Nahum 1:7
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
When shadows press and hope seems thin. God’s Word breaks through, his light pours in. The Lord is good, a refuge near.
A shelter strong, dispelling fear. Ancient truth, yet ever bright, Scripture heals the darkest night.
His word is an Everlasting Balm. Working depressions darkness into blissful calm.

Well, we can't go past the Word of God.
Well, we can't go past the Word of God.
No longer religious I still appreciate the poetry in this your rhyme was very nicely crafted and the flow was marvelous. A very enjoyable read with a great message for those of faith.
I can understand your mentality on the subject, but I would like to point out. Religion is dogma, faith is more personal and distinctly different. Thank you for reading and responding Soren.
