Cursed To Repeat

Kurt Philip Behm

Blisters of

disillusion

fester

and boil

Vision

rubbed raw

in the darkness

embroiled

False

expectations

lie scattered

and burned

Ignoring

our history

with lessons

— unlearned

(Dreamsleep: February, 2025)

There's much truth in this, for sure. Well done, Kurt!

A social commentary of our present day. Sadly it is true. What more can I say but well written

I was going to school to be a history teacher before I dropped out bc of mostly money problems. This puece tells the story of history itself. Repeating blindly until we either dies a species or evolve into something better. Only time will tell.
