THE BIGGEST KILLER

nephilim56

If tomorrow
Could have
Offered more
Would he
Have closed
The final door ?

Burning tears
Eyes and face
A bitter thought
In anguish now
A deeper pain
Reaching so
Far back
Totally sane.

Childhood memories
Garden swing
Scuffed boys knees
Mothers kiss
Teenage years
Adults myth
Forgive me
He asks
In tremoring voice
I felt I had no choice.

Feeling that there are no choices left is the worst confrontation to face. Been there. 🙏🏻🕊

Dark and sad a tragic flash of memory described before a suicide. Well done

A painful and sad write to read, but a very valid one as it is on the increase, have been there and it's an awful place to be, nicely expressed and written
