beach walk

i walked along the beach and sat down by the shore
i watched the tide roll in coming home once more
then i took a paddle and walked in to the sea
as i watched the waves rolling over me

the water it was warm i could feel the heat
as the tide was rolling covering my feet
it was very peaceful as quiet as can be
just being on the shore made me feel so free

    The sea can be so healing in many ways Jim. I can’t wait to visit again. Your poem reminds me of what I am missing. It is raining full on here today. Really miserable. Your poem though, lifts the mood.

      reminds of the beach boys years ago loved them
      hi cassing sun out here for now was dismal earlier
      manange to get new greenhouse frame built
      still got more do but frame is done
      hope you well and warm garden time on way
      we will both be happy again
