Do love your kids to the ends of the earth. Don’t count yourself out when you miss the mark at first. Do remember your partner who’s been with you from the start. Don’t play games with each other’s hearts. Do tell the truth no matter how hard it is. Don’t lie. Don’t give your words a spicy twist. Do try to forgive yourself and others. Don’t stay in anger. Don’t become bitter. Do try to understand we’re all fighting private battles that you don’t know a thing about. Don’t always believe the words I’m fine; see if you can help with any doubt. Do believe that you are deserving of a deep love. Don’t hate yourself to the point of giving up. Do teach your kids through every stage of life. That you have their back when they get it wrong or when they get it right. Be a good example in everything you do. Teach them how to handle conflict that’s often difficult. Don’t be hard on yourself when you fail and miss the mark. There’s no time like the present to give one thing a start!
