Silence is peaceful sometimes:)
It lingers where the silence was
A breath too light, to quick
not abscence, not prescence
but the thing between -
a whisper lost in noones ear
not sorrow
not joy
not longing
not peace
but the hush before the echo forms
the silence of dark before the storm
a shadow cast that noone sees
the pause between heartbeats
the gap between thought and speech
it is there for sure
like the footprints on the shore
washed away by the tide
Tracing the horizon
as the sun melts below
not day
not night
but the emptiness between
