Staying home
I am watching a fading ghosts face,
dissipate, away from the visual space.
This one came back with and followed me home,
she arose from the rivers sided foam.
I wrote her in a story watching her play,
dancing in the river taunting me to stay.
I am watching her fading smiles shine,
wanting her touch and her to be mine.
Reaching hands I try to grasp the view,
the ghost that emerged down river from you.
Watching her fade in then out of the light,
jumping back and fourth out and into sight.
Dry and firmly docked now, staying home,
where this ghost now tauntingly roams.
In a story written for your ghosts view,
when I was sitting down river from you.
