Gravity between us

Amy Michelle Mosier

Gravity between us

Is forever pulling;

Where the one lover goes -

The other tags along

For since the day we met -

The universe implied

That my heart and your heart

Were set to collide.

Whatever happens -

The orbit dictates

We go and our hands

Are locked for always.

If we are flung abroad -

We will be a twain

Of rogue planets brought

Together again.

Here metaphor meets love and one thinks of how spacy one feels when in love. A very nice read

Thank you, Soren. I'm in an astronomy club. Kind of a weird aside, but I love Dua Lipa songs because of how much spacey metaphor she uses, besides her retro discotech sounds.

Let it be so. Together forever.
