Daffodils Of Yellow

Ajon4wheels

Far away upon lively amber surface of the hills
The sweet smell of spring so delicious, fresh from the delicate yellow flowers
Which is completely covered by golden field of layered daffodils
Time flies by, I was just sitting there, watching them for hours.

Just sitting on the wooden bench and time has escaped me
I guess, I was just interested in the intense, young saffron land
In a trance, my mind was blown away when I heard a spring bee
Next to me, the bee was in a trance as well, beside my hand

The fuzzy bee had just all worked so hard pollinating
His hair and his little legs was filled up with sweetness
He had just awakened up from out of hibernating
Carrying the sweet pollen to the queen bee, her highness

With the sun shining on the horizon of daffodils
Making the wooden beams of the bench hot to touch
I am enjoying this sunny warm embrace from the hills
Time passed me by, I am thinking about taking a bunch

But who am I to ruin this golden, beautiful field, daffodil of yellow
I will not destroy them, I am good sitting here a little bit longer
Absorbing the aroma of the bright Spring’s meadow
As I am going through the felids, feeling a little bit calmer
