“Liquid Love”

Peanut

Mist on water, a cloudy haze.

How could I ever earn your gaze?

The crystal raindrops burn my skin,

and you know that as you let me in.

Rain on rooftops, a cool breeze.

With you, all words come with ease.

I’m glad we got to talk awhile.

Just the thought brings me a smile.

Dew on petals, a droopy heart.

Please don’t tear my love apart.

It’s morning now, and I should go.

Your words meant a lot, you know.
