I got this feeling
Should stay here for a while
I got this feeling
Should wait to see your smile
I got this feeling
Moon will sail through the clouds
I got this feeling
We shall overcome somehow
Remembrance of those eyes
Pouring liquid fire
Running wild to her
In my burning desire
My enemy dragged me away
From my undying love
Enemy made me walk a road
So far from her
Enemy's face, I struggled to see
My mind was bound in ropes
Didn't let me breath free
So many faces flashing by
Someday I found my enemy
Hidden inside my mind
The "has been's and 'were's
I want to resuscitate them from dead
I want to be in the warm embrace
Of my beloved life again
This is what I dreamt of
This is all I ever wanted
When last hour comes calling
I want to play the end game
In the arms of my beloved life's embrace

This is a rather sad longing for a past life departed. A desire for its return from the dead. Resurrection is believed in by some. A thought provoking write.
Thank you very much for your read and comment. Deeply appreciate your support ๐. Thank you
A desperation for a lost love to return, a very interesting and well expressed write
Thank you very much for the read and your comments. I wrote this poem as an expression of my regret for running away from life when it extended the olive branches. Here my love refers to the lost life. Deeply appreciate your support ๐.Thank you
You are very, welcome, good to see you back
Sometimes we donโt know what we had until itโs gone. That is the feeling your beautiful poem gave me. I hope you can get back what you have lost. I enjoyed reading you RIS.
Thank you so very much Cassie. We indeed take many things for granted and realise their worth only too late. The older I am becoming the more I realise it wasn't life but myself who made the choices. I am grateful for your thoughts and support. Thanks Bhaskar
