Blood Caps

Timothy Hilary Musa

The Red floor dance is

getting fierce and furious

Scarf and hat rolls the floor

Following the melodious tempo

Unleashed

Emptying your stomach

Pierces waiting ears.

Belittling those prestigious brains

Itching hands blazes

social Fields endlessly

Kiewee, let's dance in the next room

Your tongue bleed fire

Your rage uncovers the untold

Beloved, let's be civil

than regret soon

The eyes of the earth

watches our undies

Humiliating our parliament

whose wit have journied

rough rocks and plains

demonstrating expertise

Sheath your sword yahbie

Swallow your pride

and let the dine continue

as the music unit us in our different

costumes.

Covered under layers of metaphor is political commentary. A poem replete with metaphor. Lovely
