I’ve been here a while
on the loneliest planet,
feeling out of touch.
I've felt many stars,
but they all burn me the same,
stuck in this cycle.
The moon— always dull—
is also stuck in orbit,
so I understand.
All else is changing
where it's unnecessary,
leaving us in need.
Though power is ours,
we all choose to envy those
who chose to use it.
Claiming how unfair
that they get to be "perfect,"
while we are at fault.

- Comment from author about the poem: This was written a while ago when I was feeling isolated. In my eyes, it\\\'s about acknowledging the ability to change but not knowing where to start. (P.S. Thank you to the people who have been commenting on my work. I know I don\\\'t often reply, but I see you and appreciate your words regardless. I\\\'m glad that you enjoy my poetry as much as I enjoy writing it.)

When feeling down and isolated from the world, it can be very difficult to find a way out and know where to start looking, hang in there and the light will come, nicely expressed write
This poem comments on the complex relationship of where blame lies and how we close our eyes to it. A deep dive into the human psyche. Nicely done.
