Seasons In a Year.
Sit by my side in the birthing of nature springtime.
While we are young, interested, caring and keen.
Any moment now the sun will be breaking through.
For all generations a new world will soon be seen.
Sit by my side in the heated bright sunlit summer.
Watching natures coming of life unfolding display.
Soak in the sun as it warms soul of mother’s earth.
The sun will fade, autumn will soon be on its way.
Sit by my side among the glowing sunset autumn.
Among the changing of nature’s beautiful colours.
Together we embrace the new changing of nature.
We partake in the wonderful cycle of life it follows.
Sit by my side in the long stormy cold harsh winter.
Where in the cold we huddled close to keep warm.
Protecting us from all the sad troubles in the world.
When we are together there is just peace and calm.
You have sat by my side throughout all the seasons.
Finally, we have travelled slowly throughout the year.
The fact I travelled this far there is only one reason.
Whenever I looked to my side you were sitting there.
