Purple

Caring dove

Purple

the colour living on soft relaxing spaces

being still in one spot

by tender trees

by barks that say nothing

always silent in their stable strong ways

and leaves that may lightly laugh in the soft breeze

or cry in the loud rain

living in gardens by other flowers

in friendly forests

On relaxing spaces

by barks of brown

a grounded space and feeling that sometimes cries for more colour and brightness

the bark of tree wanders

why it’s the same colour as the soil

and why the brightness appears more in spring and autumn

only on her leaves

wandering what it would be like to be something else

or a different shade of colour for a while

what it may be like ti be the colour purple

Ah to be something we are not and even more something we do not know. A wonderful metaphor for what would it be like to be someone else and to walk in their shoes, to experience their joys, their pain and sorrow to see the world through another set of eyes. Lovely

How we wonder what it's like to view and experience the world through someone else's eyes, would it be better or would be worse, I enjoyed reading this lovely write

Wonderfully thought-provoking with beautiful imagery. Oh...and the color purple is perfection in my book. Well done, friend! šŸŒ¹šŸ‘
