Searching

TommyDingo

Been searching all my life
Restless thoughts and sleepless nights
Constantly moving on to something new
I don't believe in love but maybe I'm
Searching for "the one".

Maybe it's karma or fate
Destiny taking me where I should be
Perhaps I'm trying to find "my truth"
Is that why I keep moving on to places
And countries I don't belong.

Could be this is God's plan
But being honest he'd have no
Use for me as I'm just a man
With some serious character flaws.

Searching across the world with
My passports and books in my bag
They say nomad life is no life
Maybe that's my role in this life
To be the man that went searching his
Entire life.
