I faded into the night
A seemingly escapist act
A defeat in everyone's eyes
Stepped over the threshold of
My limited being
A life of conformance
A made-up picture of success
Which everyone likes to see
Smell of liberation hit my nose
Goosebumps popped up when it touched my skin
For the first time of my being
I realized what freedom truly means
I will walk on, my friends
In drunk stupor of liberty
I will walk and walk
To experience being bold
I pray to almighty for strength
Please let me tread the path
I want to feel once
What you wanted me to see
What you wanted to feel
When you gave me this life

Thanks for stopping by and your encouraging words. Deeply appreciate your support 🙏
We develop our insecurities and demons over time. To be liberated from all and to experience life to the absolute maximum is a dream for most people. That freedom comes with confidence and strength and maybe prayer plays a significant part in it for those with a strong faith. We have one life, most wish to live it to the full. I hope you achieve your aims. I enjoyed your words.
