In Memory of Antoine  de Saint-Exupéry after Nikolai Dobronravov.

Ksey_Gan

1.The Earth is now empty without you.

How can I live for a few next hours?

The leaves are falling in the forgot  gardens,

And taxis are always rushing somewhere.

Only the Earth is empty

Without you, but  you,

You fly, and the stars

Give you

Their tenderness.

2.The Earth was also empty shell,

Just  when Exupery flew there.

The leaves were falling in the gardens,

And the Earth could not figure out,

How to live without him, while

He flew, flew,

And all the stars

Gave him

Their tenderness.

3. Maybe you need to fly away to know,

How many scarlet suns and moons there are in the world,

Maybe you need to fly away to know,

How helpless the earth is cold.

And only earthly love is enormous

And here in the universe you

are warmed by my tenderness.

The earth is empty without you,

if you can, fly back soon!

A poem of mystery to those that only the English part understand but in the beauty of its part understood the rest is assumed.

A superb articulation of what I feel of his affair. Splendid poetry. 🙏🏻🕊
