My Life with IBS My stomach is often in a mess knots to be precise. Watching what I eat is a Constant battle as I don't ever want a repeat of an IBS flare up. Always feeling tired, Fatigue forces me to cancel plans as usually I'm just too tired to socialize to other people's surprise, IBS robs you of sleep, energy and Quality of Life! affecting mood and mental health leaving you depleted of everything you've got to give feeling like you've lost a piece of yourself. While good days do exist they can be few and far between, these invisible symptoms can go Unseen to the rest of the world. They only see your Smile while you feel the Pain both physically and mentally going insane. Life with IBS is exhausting I live with IBS come what may Please be Patient with me on those hard days when I struggle to do the things I would like to do it is frustrating for me at 38 to accept the Limits it puts upon me by this invisible Condition known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I just wanted to share with You the inner battle I fight to survive another day that I Live with IBS. #April is IBS Awareness Month#

If you haven't had something it is hard to empathize or know what it is like. I hear this in this poem and it is true. Nice brave write
Thankyou for your Understanding sorenbarrett it is appreciated. I was inspired to write it shortly after reading about someone else's struggle and thought of my own personal battle. Thankyou again for your encouraging comment.
I connect with this and have been there, it is really difficult to explain and for people to understand because it's not visible, but it can effect everything you do, well expressed write
@Poetic Licence thankyou for your kind understanding comment and for your supportive words of encouragement too. It is good to hear other people's opinions and also I agree it is difficult to explain to ones who have never experienced it. Very challenging to live with and equally challeneging to explain. Thankyou for you Kind comment.
You are very welcome
