Blue velvet

mya

if the sea were a fabric to clutch,
were it a marvel to look at much,
were it a pleasure to graze
such beautiful folds which leave you dazed,

as it washes around the soft sandy skin,
golden under every wave that begins,
and embraces its unique curves
that captivate, its grace preserved,

it would be a velvet in blue,
with the sky it always renews,
and shimmers in harmony
with the wind, sun and serenity.
